Hello all my Downtown Automotive clients, friends and family.If you have driven by my old Government Street location in the last month then you know that I have moved. Don't worry, I am still around to help you!

After much thought and deliberation I came to the difficult decision to cease operation of Downtown Automotive. My final day of business was August 31, 2010 after that I took some time off to reflect and consider my future before setting out on my new journey.

The first step was to consider how to take care of my Downtown Automotive clientele. Being in the automotive service business in Victoria I was very familiar with all of my competition.  It was very important to me that my customers were treated in the same manner that they are accustomed to at my Downtown shop. I spoke with various shop owners, but when I sat down with Gerry Rand and he explained to me about the business practices at Rand Automotive, I knew immediately that this was the place where I wanted to refer my clients. Many of the extra things that the Rand team is currently doing for their clients were things that I had future plans to do for mine. Let me just say that it seemed like such a good fit for my clients and me that when I was offered a position on the Rand team I excitedly accepted. I have always heard about the great things that the team at Rand Automotive had to offer and in the short time I have been here I have seen all of them to be true.

Today I am very pleased that I can continue to assist my customers in their automotive maintenance needs. I am equally satisfied  that I have a positive and happy place that I can continue to build and maintain my long-term relationships, some of which have spanned over the last 24 years.
