Give us a call or stop by to find out all of the exciting details.
Automotive Warranties are an interesting thing to say the least. To help you understand why this is the one we chose to promote we have supplied some descriptions of the other ones available.
Manufacturer Warranty: When the vehicle is built the manufacturer puts a "warranty" on your vehicle which times out on a set date and mileage. This warranty is a defect only program that does not cover wearable items (tires, brakes, wiper blades etc) it also does not cover any maintenance services like oil changes, flushes, rotations etc. For the most part these warranties work very well as long as you keep up your maintenance. For more information on Manufacturer warranty management click here.
Manufactures Extended Warranty: When the vehicle is purchased new very often the salesperson will offer you to purchase (on top of the price of your new vehicle) a warranty that will extend past the timeout date and mileage. Typically these warranties have fine print and before purchase we suggest a thorough proof read. (Feel free to ask us) Some of these have a deductible should you require to use them and some even offer a full refund should you not.
Used Car Warranty: Typically if you purchase a used vehicle from a car lot you may purchase a "Warranty" or insurance policy as we call it. The difference is that the vehicle is used and we expect that problems will and do exist. Again "read the fine print" because there are good and bad companies that administer these programs.
Service Warranty: This is a very popular these days. When you purchase your new vehicle they sell you a maintenance program to cover most of your service (oil changes) costs for a set period of time. Of course there are a lot of different programs but again we suggest that you to read the fine print and look at the big picture. We have heard very many mixed reviews on these programs but it is a great customer retention program for the dealers to get you back standing in line treated like a number again.
